Contrasting necklace, handmade using recycled sterling silver and brass.
The silver disc sits inside the brass circle on a ring.
The texture on the silver disc is a hydrangea petal. I collect these in the winter when they have turned to skeletons, once dry they go through the rolling mill with silver sheet, pushing the imprint of the delicate petal into the silver. Each piece is different as a petal can only be used once.
The necklace hangs on an 18" belcher chain with handmade catch.
